SUERC and National Electrostatics Corp

SUERC is a leader in the development and optimisation of accelerator mass spectrometry (AMS) technologies for environmental and Earth science research. Through its collaboration with NEC, SUERC has helped pioneer the Positive Ion Mass Spectrometry (PIMS) system, enabling more efficient radiocarbon analysis via direct CO₂ injection. Alongside PIMS, SUERC operates a range of advanced AMS instruments, continually refining system performance to expand analytical capabilities across multiple isotopes.
